David Jolly: The New Realities of Third Party Politics

Now more than ever, most Americans are fed up with "politics as usual." They feel today's political leaders are only interested in protecting their power and privilege while ignoring the voices of their constituents. New Gallup polling shows that 61% of Americans support a new major political party - the highest ever recorded. But going up against the most powerful and entrenched two-party machine in history is a daunting task.

David Jolly is a former Republican who represented the Pinellas County area in the House and is now Executive Chairman of the Serve America Movement (SAM), a group of Democrats, Republicans, and independents who have come together to fix the broken politics in America, and have created the only political platform not based on rigid ideology or pre-determined policy positions.
